Coach Ron Lee is the founder of USA High Jump Club. He has 16 years of high jumping experience with a personal best of 7'2". He was the Oregon State High Jump champion in 1982, All-American in College, and the U.S. National Masters Champion in 2003. He still competes in Master's track meets and has been ranked #1 in the U.S. in his age group several times since starting Masters in 2000. Coach Lee has been coaching at JSerra Catholic High School for the past four seasons. He coached a freshman high jumper from a personal best of 5'8" to 7'1" as a sophomore and a California State Champion in 2008. Coach Lee also works with youth athletes and has coached several top ranked jumpers, including his 10 year old son who is the #1 ranked bantam high jumper in the U.S. for 2009 and a National Champion in 2009. His 13 year old daugther is a National Junior Olympics qualifier in 2008. |
