Coach Ron Lee is the founder of USA High Jump Club. He has 16 years of high jumping experience with a personal best of 7'2". He was the Oregon State High Jump champion in 1982, All-American in College, and the U.S. National Masters Champion in 2003. He still competes in Master's track meets and has been ranked #1 in the U.S. in his age group several times since starting Masters in 2000. Coach Lee coached at JSerra Catholic High School past four seasons and he is now coaching at Trabuco Hills High School. He coached a freshman high jumper from a personal best of 5'8" to 7'1" as a sophomore and a California State Champion in 2008. Coach Lee also works with youth athletes and has coached several top ranked jumpers, including his 11 year old son who is the #1 ranked bantam high jumper in the U.S. for 2009/2010 and a National Champion in 2009/2010 and National Record Holder in 2010. His 15 year old daugther is a National Junior Olympics qualifier in 2008 and rank #13 Freshman jumper in 2011. She also qualified for CIF in 2011. |
